Things
that go bump in the night...
Simon is back and badder than
ever. This game revolutionized the static platform
genre with its use of adventure and RPG elements. One
of the first truly non-linear platform games ever
created. This game took us to new realms of gaming
goodness with its well thought out plot and flawless
design. We watch and play as the Belmont legend
unfolds before us through the familiar Castlevanian
landscape. Watch out weary traveller because what may
be friendly and helpful during the day may just
become your worst nightmare when the sun goes down.
Don't take your hand off that whip, not for a second.
About the
game...
This one had a more adventure-like
feel to it. Kinda like Indiana Jones meets Day of the Dead
sort of thing. Your mind will be tested in this one, along
with your thumbs of course. All in all, a great follow-up to
one of the hardest games of all time to follow-up. Not quite as
difficult as the first one (especially drac himself), but
somehow more satisfying.
